Upper East Side
scroll
THE GUT RENOVATION of this 4,000-square-foot floor-through Upper East Side pre-war apartment for a family of five carefully balances classic architecture with modern functionality. Original plaster detailing was meticulously replicated to preserve the home’s historic character, while extensive custom-built-in cabinetry creates a clean, uncluttered aesthetic throughout. Glass doors subtly divide the living spaces without compromising the flow of natural light.
